
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress also known as a media personality and singer. Since 2007 she has been an adjudicator on the TV talent show competition Britain's Got Talent on ITV. She also co-hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine years old she was accepted into the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden also has TV credits, including three shows with Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham in the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes on ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield, and a special Agatha Christie episode "4.50 from Paddington" to celebrate Boxing Day. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she was in the role of Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay and Aleha Dixon. Alongside Alesha Dixon David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she joined the show.
