Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. she is an analyst currently and team leader for GI-TOC collaboration with multilateral partners. At GI-TOC, her research focuses on assassinations in contexts of illegal economies. Research interests include the effects of organized crime on policy, law and law related to the human right. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum the laude award with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies at Geneva. She holds obtained an LL.M. degree from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her legal experience has included four years of practicing at a firm that specializes in litigation involving public law. She has also held assisting roles with non-governmental organizations located within Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
