Mark Charlson was born in Iowa and is now retired from the U.S. Navy. In the 1980s, he served on the U.S.S. O'Brien, which was stationed in the Philippines. Annabelle was adopted by her mother when she was just an infant and Adolfo Panganiban and Mila Panganiban took care of the girl.
